The Message:

Aiight sooo, everything is pretty much going really good right now. This job isn't nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be. In all honesty it's actually pretty good. The people there are all really cool, my managers aren't dickheads, they give me a lot of hours, and I get to eat great food and come home with big quarts of soup to try every night. Everything is going good in my personal life. My mother left for Texas and is finally able to focus on herself. My sisters are doing better in school, and don't have to stress about my mother like I used to. My bestfriends are finally maturing in their relationship, and they both realize that they need eachother. It definitely is a beautiful thing when two people can both realize they need eachother, and even more beautiful when they accept it. Speaking of the subject, my relationship with Sasha is at a point that I thought it would never be honestly. We've grown to understand eachother when it comes to alot of things we used to have a hard time getting over. I'd like to say that everything will go up from here, being as though I have alot of positivity surrounding me. Last night since me and my roommate Joel didn't decide to watch the pitiful excuse for a superbowl, we grabbed a couple beers and went on our roof to enjoy the weather and our beautiful view of the skyline. I mean honestly my life can't get any better, but it will, and that's the part that blows my mind.

But for some reason. Something isn't right yet. I don't want to sound like I'm trying to be negative but I feel like something is missing from my life. Thats a bitch-ass feeling too, when you know that something doesn't feel right but you can't point your finger on it. It's enough to drive me crazy, but I won't let it because I have the habit of over-exaggerating anyways.

But besides from all that, I'm really just looking forward to the next couple of weeks. I've got some friends coming up from Delaware to visit me, then the weekend after that is Valentines day/Sasha's birthday, so basically that whole weekend is going to be dedicated to me and her.

Oh I almost forgot, second day of work, I served soup to this guy...

In case you don't know who this is, it's Spike Lee.
He got the Three Lintil Chili over rice and Vegetable Chicken Broth. ^_^ I heard he's kind of a dickhead, but I took his order, and he wasn't much of one at all. Actually, he was pretty cool, but I didn't want him to know I was some fan, because everyone told me he comes there almost everyday. That's fucking wicked. I get to serve one of African America's biggest influences gourmet soup.

Speaking of influences, I never really got a chance but I want to dedicate this portion of my blog entry to the greatest producer of all time, Mr. James Dewitt Yancey
aka J Dilla aka Jay Dee.

You definitely changed my life..

Off to work, so until next time.
Sincerely yours.
